I had the same problem. After my upgrade, all my location and diagnostic settings reverted too, and it took me forever to go through and lock everything back down.

Also, you might want to double-check that your internet connection is stable, as that can sometimes block the activation servers.

This happened to me too. I ended up finding a setting in my BIOS to enable TPM, but it was a real pain to track down.
