Yeah, and after clearing the TPM, make sure you save and exit the BIOS completely for the change to take effect.

Yeah, and if you go that route, make sure to back up anything important first since a clean install will wipe your drive.

I had the same problem with a similar older build. I ended up doing a clean install from USB and it worked.
