Agreed. I had the same problem with my i7-7700K. It's a hard block from Microsoft's supported CPU list, so the checker won't budge.

+1 You could also check if there's a BIOS update for your ASUS motherboard, as that can sometimes unlock greyed-out Secure Boot options.
