+1 That's a good start, but for the performance vs efficiency layout, you might want to check the "Cores" tab in CPU-Z to see the exact mapping.

I had the same problem with my 6700K. I ended up enabling fTPM in the BIOS, which got me to TPM 2.0 and let the upgrade proceed.

This. Agreed, and one more thing—sometimes resetting your default browser in Windows Settings again can help if the links keep reverting to Edge.
