Same here. I had the same problem. I ended up downloading a free icon pack and using a simple .ico file to replace it manually.

Yeah, that worked for me as well. A quick extra tip: if that doesn't fully fix it, try toggling the lock screen background to "Picture" and back again in Settings afterward.
