Yeah, Also, did you check if your Windows account has full admin rights? Sometimes upgrades mess with that.

I had the same problem on my ASUS board. I had to go into the BIOS and actually switch the system from "Other OS" to "Windows UEFI" mode for it to be fully recognized. Hope that helps.

You could also try clearing the CMOS, as a corrupted BIOS setting can sometimes cause this exact black screen issue. Good luck!
