Yeah, that Alt+D shortcut is a lifesaver, but if you want it always visible, you can enable "Show the full path in the title bar" in Folder Options.

+1 You could also check if Secure Boot is enabled in your BIOS, as that's another common blocker. Another option is to use the official Microsoft PC Health Check app to see exactly what's failing.

Same here. Another option is to check the Start Menu settings themselves. Right-click the taskbar, choose "Taskbar settings," and look for "Taskbar behaviors" to see if the "Align taskbar icons" setting got changed.

+1 This happened to me. I swore my TPM was enabled, but a BIOS update finally made the setting stick and it passed the check.
