+1 You could also check your BIOS settings to see if TPM is disabled, since sometimes it's there but just turned off.

Can confirm. You could also try updating your motherboard BIOS to the latest version, as that often resolves TPM detection issues.

Same here. This happened to me too. The real kicker was needing to enable Secure Boot as well, even though my hardware was new enough. Let me know if that works.
