I had this issue on my laptop. From what I have seen, that specific error is often tied to a driver or background app conflict. I finally got it to work by doing a clean boot to disable all non-Microsoft startup items and services before running the upgrade again.
Has anyone else had the upgrade from Windows 10 to 11 fail repeatedly? My PC meets the requirements, but the installation gets to about 85% and then rolls back with the error code 0xC1900101. I’ve run the Update Troubleshooter and made sure my drivers are updated, but it keeps happening. What other recovery options should I try before doing a clean install? I really want to avoid wiping everything if possible.
