Has anyone else had the "This PC can't run Windows 11" error, even though my PC ?

Has anyone else had the "This PC can't run Windows 11" error, even though my PC meets all the requirements? The Health Check app says my TPM 2.0 is enabled and Secure Boot is on, but the upgrade assistant still fails. It gets to about 75% installed, then rolls back with a generic error. I’ve tried the installation three times now. Are there any recovery options to either finish the upgrade or safely go back to my Windows 10 setup without losing files?

Thanks! I tried that, but now my computer won't start up properly and just shows a black screen. What should I do?

Yeah, I had the same problem. For me, it was a specific driver that needed updating before the install would finally go through.

You could also try booting from your Windows 10 install media and using the repair options to fix the startup. Another option is to check if a recent BIOS update is available from your PC manufacturer, as that can sometimes resolve compatibility hiccups.

Yeah, that's solid advice. Also, make sure you've got enough free space on your system drive—sometimes the installer just needs more room than you'd think. Good luck!

Yeah, Agreed, and one more thing: double-check for any pending Windows updates before trying again, as they can sometimes resolve these hidden compatibility hiccups.

Agreed. I had the same problem. For me, it was a conflict with a specific driver that didn't show up until the later stages of the install.

You could also try creating a fresh Windows 11 installation USB with the Media Creation Tool, as the upgrade assistant files can sometimes get corrupted.

Can confirm. I had the same problem. A clean install from a USB finally worked for me after the upgrade assistant kept failing.
