I had the same problem. For me, it was a background Windows Update process eating up resources.

+1 You could also try temporarily disabling hardware acceleration in your browser to see if that smooths things out. Let me know if that works.

Yeah, that's a good call. Also, check for any pending Windows updates, as a recent patch might have introduced a glitch.

Agreed. Yeah, that's a good call. Also, try opening Task Manager and keeping an eye on your disk or memory usage when it freezes. Good luck!

Agreed. If you have an SSD, you could also check its health and available space.

Can confirm. You could also try temporarily disabling any startup programs you don't need, as they can sometimes cause these kinds of hiccups. Good luck!
