Has anyone else hit a wall trying to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11? My PC meets all the requirements, but the installer keeps failing. I keep getting error code 0xC1900101, and it rolls back every time. It gets to about 85% installed, then just stops. I’ve run the update troubleshooter with no luck. Any ideas on what to try next?
From what I've seen, I had this issue on a couple of workstations. From what I have seen, that specific error often comes from a driver conflict. I'd try disconnecting any non-essential peripherals, like printers or external drives, and then run the upgrade again.
Same here. I had the same problem. For me, it was an old external USB hub causing the rollback—unplugging everything non-essential finally let it finish.
