Has anyone else hit a wall trying to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11? My PC meets all the requirements, but the upgrade fails every time. It gets to about 75% and then rolls back with the error code 0xC1900101 - 0x20017. I’ve run the update troubleshooter and made sure my drivers are updated, but no luck. Any ideas on what to try next?

That error usually points to a driver or software conflict during the install. Since you've checked drivers, try temporarily disconnecting any non-essential peripherals like printers or external drives before starting the upgrade. Yeah, I had the same problem. For me, it was a conflict with an old VPN client I had forgotten was even installed. Hope that helps.

Agreed. Yeah, and if you do have one, try disabling it just before the upgrade. That's often the culprit.

Same here. I had the same problem. For me, it was a conflict with an old peripheral driver that didn't show up as outdated. Hope that helps.
