I had the same problem with an older i7. I ended up just sticking with Windows 10 since everything still worked fine.

Yeah, did you check if TPM is enabled in your BIOS? That's often the issue. Good luck!

Agreed. Yeah, and if your BIOS doesn't have a TPM option, you might be able to enable something called PTT instead—it's Intel's version.

Can confirm. Right, so if PTT is there, turn that on and then run the check again.

I had the same problem with an older i7. The health check app was useless for figuring out the TPM part.

Can confirm. This happened to me too. I ended up having to enable TPM in my BIOS, and even then the CPU check was a hard stop.

+1 Yeah, that CPU check is a real wall. If you're feeling adventurous, there are unofficial workarounds, but they can be a hassle. Hope that helps.

This. Have you checked your BIOS settings to see if TPM is disabled there?

Can confirm. I had the same problem with my older i7. The health check app was right about the TPM, but I found the setting buried in my BIOS and enabling it got me past that error.

Yeah, that CPU is a common blocker. If you're feeling adventurous, there are unofficial workarounds, but they aren't officially supported.
