Has there been a recent update to how the Windows Hello PIN works?

+1 This happened to me after last week's update. It now asks for the PIN earlier, right after clicking my account name.

Can confirm. I had the same problem. It threw me off at first, but it seems to be working fine once you get used to the new prompt.

Agreed. Yeah, it was part of the latest security update—you can check your update history to see it listed.

Yeah, I had the same problem after updating. It threw me off at first, but it's just the new normal now.
