Also, double-check you have enough free space on your C: drive, as that's a common culprit for that error.

Yeah, and just to add, run the built-in Windows Backup tool first—it’s the simplest way to get a full snapshot without missing anything.

This. Agreed, and one more thing: double-check you have enough free space on your backup drive before it starts.

You could also use the built-in File History tool for a continuous backup of your personal folders.
