I had the same problem. Turns out I accidentally left the example post in place and it confused new users.

Yeah, I did that too. I just went in and deleted it from the admin panel right away.

I had the same problem. I deleted that post and then started setting up my actual forums right after.

Yeah, exactly. I just treated it like a dummy post to confirm the install worked, then cleared it out to make room for my real content.

This. You could also leave it as a placeholder to show other admins the board structure until you're ready to build it out.

Yeah, that's a good point. You can even edit the text to include setup notes or reminders for yourself.

Yeah, You could also just leave it as a placeholder until you're ready to customize the board fully.

I had the same problem. I just left that welcome post there for a few days while I figured out the rest of the setup.
