Has anyone else run into driver problems after upgrading to Windows 11? My HP pr?

Post by I00juemdin »

Has anyone else run into driver problems after upgrading to Windows 11? My HP printer now shows as an "unknown device" with a Code 43 error in Device Manager, and my external audio interface keeps cutting out. I’ve tried running the Windows Update troubleshooter and reinstalling from the manufacturer's site, but no luck. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

You could also try manually downloading the latest drivers directly from HP's website instead of relying on Windows Update.

For the audio interface, have you checked if the manufacturer has a Windows 11-specific driver on their support site?

Yeah, and for that printer, sometimes just unplugging it and restarting your PC before plugging it back in can clear that Code 43 error.

Agreed. For the audio interface, have you checked HP's site for newer Windows 11 drivers specifically?

Agreed. You could also try manually rolling back the driver for the printer in Device Manager to see if a previous version works better.

Agreed. Yeah, and for the printer, try temporarily disabling driver signature enforcement in Windows—that sometimes clears up those unknown device errors.

Same here. For the audio interface, check if there's a specific Windows 11 driver on the manufacturer's website—Windows Update sometimes grabs the wrong one. Hope that helps.

Glad I'm not alone. Same issue on my PC.
