Has anyone else hit a wall trying to upgrade to Windows 11? My PC runs Windows 1?

Has anyone else hit a wall trying to upgrade to Windows 11? My PC runs Windows 10 fine, but the PC Health Check app says I don't meet the RAM requirement. I have 6GB installed, which I thought would be enough. The upgrade just fails with an error code: 0xC1900101. Is there any workaround, or is buying more RAM my only option?

Yeah, that's the main roadblock. A quick check in your system settings can confirm your usable RAM is actually a bit less than the 6GB installed.

+1 I had the same problem with that exact error. For me, it was an old audio driver that was blocking the upgrade.

Agreed. You could also try temporarily removing any non-essential USB devices, as sometimes an external drive or peripheral can cause that specific error during setup.

+1 You could also check if your storage drive has at least 64GB of free space, as that's another common hard requirement that can block the upgrade.
