I’m trying to upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11, but the PC Health Check app says my system doesn’t meet the requirements because Secure Boot isn’t enabled. I checked my BIOS (UEFI) and it’s definitely on, but I still get the error. Has anyone else run into this? My motherboard is an ASUS Z370. Do I need to change a specific setting or clear the TPM as well?

Yeah, that's a common snag with some ASUS boards. You might need to go into the BIOS and switch the OS type from "Other OS" to "Windows UEFI mode" to get it fully recognized. Good luck!

Agreed, and also double-check that your storage drive is using GPT and not MBR, as that can block it too.

This happened to me on a different ASUS board. I had to go into the BIOS and actually disable Secure Boot, save and exit, then go back in and re-enable it for it to be recognized properly.

Can confirm. I had the same problem with my Z370. That trick worked for me too, but I also had to clear the TPM in the BIOS after re-enabling Secure Boot. Let me know if that works.

Can confirm. This happened to me on a different ASUS board. I had to switch Secure Boot from "Standard" to "Custom" and then back to "Standard" to finally get it to stick.

Yeah, after you switch it back to Standard, did you remember to save and exit the BIOS?

Can confirm. I had the same problem on my ASUS board. I had to go into the BIOS and clear the Secure Boot keys under the key management section, then re-enable it.

Yep, that did it for me too—clearing the keys and setting it to "Setup Mode" first was the trick. Let me know if that works.
