+1 Yeah, that registry trick is the way to go. Just be sure to unplug your internet before you run the installer so Windows Update doesn't try to block it again.

Agreed. Also, after you bypass it, you might want to turn off TPM and Secure Boot checks in the registry too, just to be safe.

I had the same problem with an older i7. I used the registry bypass and it's been running fine for months.

Yeah, Just to be sure, have you double-checked that Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 are definitely enabled in your BIOS? Hope that helps.
