+1 Yeah, that INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE error is a real pain. Have you checked if your BIOS is set to UEFI and not Legacy/CSM? Hope that helps.

Agreed. I had the same problem. For me, it was a driver conflict with an old SSD controller that didn't play nice with Windows 11.

You could also try booting into safe mode and rolling back the update, which often clears up these driver-related hangs. Let me know if that works.

I had the same problem. For me, it was a BIOS setting—I had to enable TPM and secure boot to finally get past that black screen.

This happened to me too. I fixed it by booting from the Windows 10 USB, choosing repair, and then doing a startup repair. Good luck!

Can confirm. Yeah, that repair trick usually works. One extra tip: if it happens again, try disconnecting any non-essential USB drives before starting the upgrade. Hope that helps.
