Has anyone else had privacy settings completely reset after upgrading to Windows?

Yeah, Also, did you check if your Windows account has full admin rights? Sometimes upgrades mess with that.

Agreed. You could also run the built-in privacy troubleshooter by going to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.

+1 Yeah, that troubleshooter is a good start. If it doesn't work, try checking your group policy settings, as an update can sometimes reset those.

You could also run the Windows Privacy Dashboard and re-lock everything down from there. Another option is to manually re-disable each setting and restart to see if the error clears. Good luck!

Yeah, that error code usually points to a permission hiccup—have you tried running the Settings app as an admin to see if that lets you back in?
