Yeah, same exact issue here. One extra thing that sometimes helps is temporarily disconnecting any non-essential USB devices before starting the upgrade.

This. Agreed, disconnecting extra peripherals can help. Also, try temporarily disabling your antivirus software during the install.

Same here. Yeah, and make sure you have a decent amount of free space on your C: drive, that's often the culprit. Good luck!

Same here. I had the same problem. For me, it was a conflict with an old security program that I had to completely uninstall.

Yeah, You could also try temporarily disconnecting any non-essential peripherals, like extra monitors or printers, before starting the upgrade again.

Agreed, that can help. Also, make sure you're plugged into power the whole time, as interruptions during that phase can cause it to fail.

+1 I had the same problem. For me, it was a BIOS setting—I had to enable TPM and secure boot in the setup menu before the upgrade would finally go through.
