Agreed. And if that doesn't clear it up, you might want to check your drive health with a tool like CrystalDiskInfo.

You could also try a clean install of Windows 11 from a USB drive, as the upgrade process itself might be corrupted. Hope that helps.

Same here. This happened to me. A clean install from USB was the only thing that finally fixed those CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED errors for me.

Can confirm. Yeah, a clean install is the way to go. One extra tip: make sure you disconnect any non-essential USB devices before you start the process.

Yeah, and after updating the BIOS, run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool just in case.

Agreed, and if that doesn't help, try temporarily disabling any third-party antivirus before the upgrade attempt.
