+1 I had the same problem with an old scanner after upgrading. I had to manually download the Windows 11 driver from the manufacturer's website.

Agreed. Yeah, that's the way to go. Also, try running the printer troubleshooter in Settings first—it sometimes finds a compatible driver automatically. Let me know if that works.

Agreed. For the touchpad lag, you might also check if there's a newer driver directly from your laptop manufacturer's support site, not just Windows Update. Hope that helps.

Can confirm. Yeah, and for that old HP printer, sometimes manually downloading the Windows 10 driver from HP's site and installing it in compatibility mode does the trick.

Yeah, You could also try running the built-in Hardware and Devices troubleshooter in Windows Settings. Another option for the touchpad is to check your laptop manufacturer's site for a newer precision driver.

I had the same problem. My old scanner stopped working, and I had to manually download a specific driver from the manufacturer's website to fix it.
