You could also try updating your motherboard's BIOS to a newer version, as that sometimes unlocks greyed-out Secure Boot options.

+1 Yeah, that's a solid suggestion. Also, make sure you're in Advanced Mode in your ASUS BIOS to see all the available settings.

This happened to me on an old ASUS board. I had to go in and clear the TPM security keys first before Secure Boot would let me enable it. Hope that helps.
