Same here. I had the same problem. Ended up needing a BIOS update to even see the fTPM setting for my older board.

Yeah, that was my fix too. Quick tip: check your motherboard maker's site for the update instead of using Windows Update.

Yeah, Agreed, that's the way to go. Also, make sure you're looking for a BIOS update specifically mentioning "AMD fTPM" or "Windows 11 support." Hope that helps.

Yeah, and sometimes that setting is buried under weird names like "AMD PSP" or "Platform Trust Technology" too.

I had the same problem with my older board. I had to update the BIOS before the fTPM option even showed up.

Yeah, this happened to me too. After the BIOS update, I found the setting buried under a security tab I'd never checked before.

Yeah, You could also try checking for a BIOS update from your motherboard manufacturer, as that sometimes adds the fTPM option.

You could also try looking for a setting called AMD PSP fTPM or Platform Trust Technology instead.

This happened to me with a similar older Ryzen. I had to update my motherboard BIOS before the fTPM option even showed up.

Yeah, that was the fix for me too. Quick tip: check your motherboard manufacturer's website for the BIOS update file and instructions. Let me know if that works.
