My File Explorer icon has always been blue, but I saw a friend's PC where it was?

+1 Yeah, that's the way to go. Just make sure you right-click the shortcut on your taskbar to change the icon, not the one in your Start Menu.

Yeah, Oh, and you'll need to find or download a yellow folder icon file first. Good luck!
