This. Yeah, and also double-check that Secure Boot is enabled in there too—it’s another common trip-up.

Agreed. Also, make sure you're fully updated on Windows 10 first, as some older drivers can cause that check to fail.

I had the same problem. Even after enabling TPM, I had to go back and switch on Secure Boot in the BIOS before it would finally work.

Agreed. Yeah, and double-check that TPM 2.0 is actually enabled in your BIOS, as HP sometimes ships with it off by default.

Agreed. I had the same problem. For me, it was the secure boot setting that was the final blocker, even after enabling TPM.

Yeah, same here. Double-check that your BIOS is actually on the latest version from HP's site too, that cleared it up for me.

This. Also, did you make sure TPM 2.0 is enabled in the BIOS?

+1 Yeah, and what about Secure Boot? That one trips people up a lot too.

Agreed, and also double-check that your TPM is enabled in the BIOS—sometimes it's off by default on those models.

I had the same problem. Even with TPM on, I had to find and enable a separate "Secure Boot" setting in the BIOS before it finally worked.
