This. That 0xC1900101 error can be a real pain. Have you tried temporarily disconnecting any non-essential USB devices, like printers or external drives, before starting the upgrade?

Can confirm. I had the same problem. For me, it was a conflict with a specific piece of security software that I had to uninstall completely before the upgrade would finally go through. Hope that helps.
