Agreed. Also, make sure you've got the latest BIOS update from HP's website, as that can sometimes enable proper TPM support.

+1 Yeah, and after you flash the BIOS, double-check that the TPM is actually set to "Enabled" and not just "Available" in the security settings. Let me know if that works.
