This happened to me last month. I fixed it by running the System File Checker tool from an admin command prompt.

Same here. I had the same problem. Running SFC didn't work for me, but a quick Windows Update fixed it. Hope that helps.

Yeah, This happened to me too. I ended up using the troubleshooter for Windows Store apps, which got the Settings app working again.

Agreed. You could also try creating a new user account to see if the problem is tied to your profile. Another option is to run the System File Checker tool from an admin command prompt.
