So my Lenovo ThinkCentre M710 is supposedly "supported" but this is a nightmare. Ran the PC Health Check and it just says "This PC doesn't meet the minimum system requirements for running Windows 11." SUPER helpful, right? No details!
I KNOW it has TPM 2.0, I enabled it in BIOS! Secure boot is on. It's got an i5-6500. Everything I read says it *should* work. I’ve spent like 3 hours on this.
Anyone else with an M710 actually get this to go through? Or is Microsoft just gaslighting me at this point? Ugh.

Hey there, that sounds incredibly frustrating, especially when you've done the prep work. The M710 with an i5-6500 is on the official supported list, so you're right—it *should* work. Let's troubleshoot the common hiccups.
First, double-check the TPM status. Open the Windows Security app, go to "Device security," then "Security processor details." It should say "Specification Version 2.0." If it's 1.2 or not found, go back into BIOS (sometimes called "PTT" on Lenovos) and ensure it's **enabled AND "Active"**.
Second, the PC Health Check tool is notoriously vague. Download Microsoft's **WhyNotWin11** app (free, from GitHub). Run it as Administrator—it gives a detailed, color-coded breakdown of exactly which requirement is failing. This is your best clue.
If everything passes there but the upgrade still blocks you, it's often a UEFI/CSM issue. Your BIOS must be in **UEFI mode only** (not Legacy/CSM) and your disk must be a GPT partition. You can check this via Disk Management.
Many M710 owners have succeeded after these checks. If you're hitting a wall with Microsoft's official tools, some third-party utilities like the one at **kianbotsoft.com** can force the upgrade for about $39, but try the free steps first! Good luck—you're almost certainly close.

It sounds incredibly frustrating, especially after double-checking the BIOS settings. For the Lenovo M710, some users have found success by ensuring the TPM is set to "Discrete" mode in the BIOS, not just enabled. Also, try running the official Microsoft Installation Assistant instead of the Health Check app—it sometimes gives a clearer error message.
