You could also try booting from your Windows 10 installation media and using the Startup Repair tool. Another option is to check if your BIOS/UEFI settings need updating, as an outdated version can sometimes cause this.

From what I've seen, First, try booting from your Windows 10 or 11 USB installer, go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options, and run Startup Repair. If that fails, from the same Troubleshoot menu, try going to Advanced Options > Uninstall Updates to remove the upgrade and revert to Windows 10. If you can't roll back, you might need to use the Command Prompt from that menu to run a bootrec /fixboot command, but a clean install could be a last resort if those don't work.
Having major boot issues after trying to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11?

Having major boot issues after trying to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11. The installation seemed to go okay, but now my PC just gets stuck on a black screen with a spinning circle. Sometimes it flashes a quick error—I think it said "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE." I can’t get into Windows at all. Any ideas on how to fix this or roll back without being able to log in? Really hoping to avoid a full wipe.

Yeah, Can you get into the BIOS to check if your drive is still being detected?

Can confirm. If it is, try booting from your Windows 10 USB and selecting "Repair your computer." Good luck!

Agreed. Yeah, that's the right move. Also, try disconnecting any extra USB drives before the repair—they can sometimes confuse the boot process.

Thanks! I tried the Startup Repair, but now it says it can't fix my PC. What should I do next?
