I’m stuck trying to upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11?

I’m stuck trying to upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11. The PC Health Check app says my system doesn’t meet the requirements, specifically because “Secure Boot” isn’t enabled. I went into my BIOS (an older ASUS motherboard) but couldn’t find a clear setting for it. Has anyone else dealt with this? Do I need to enable something called “CSM” or “Legacy Mode” first? Any step-by-step help would be amazing.

Not 100% sure, but You'll likely need to disable CSM (Compatibility Support Module) in your BIOS first, as that often locks out the Secure Boot option. Once CSM is off, you should find Secure Boot under a tab like "Boot" or "Security."

Having the same issue here. Any updates?

This. Yeah, that's a common snag. Try looking for a setting called "Launch CSM" in your BIOS and make sure it's disabled first—that sometimes unlocks the Secure Boot option.

Yeah, Also, check if you need to set your BIOS to "UEFI Mode" instead of "Legacy" for Secure Boot to even show up.

Can confirm. This happened to me too. After switching to UEFI, I also had to load default secure boot keys in the BIOS before it would work.

Agreed. I had the same problem on my old ASUS board. I had to switch the BIOS from CSM/Legacy to UEFI mode first, and then the Secure Boot option finally appeared.

Thanks! I disabled CSM, but now my computer won't boot and says "No bootable device." What do I do?

Alright, so you need to go back into the BIOS and make sure your main drive is set as the first boot option after disabling CSM.
