Has anyone else gotten constant blue screens after trying to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11? My PC meets the requirements, but the install fails and now I get random BSODs even during normal use. The most common error code is **CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED**. I’ve tried the Windows Update Troubleshooter with no luck. Any ideas on how to fix this or safely roll back?

You could also try running the System File Checker tool from an admin command prompt, since that specific error can sometimes point to corrupted system files.

So basically, I had this issue last month. From what I've seen, it's often a driver conflict, especially with older security software or peripherals. I had to boot into safe mode and manually uninstall my antivirus and a sketchy RGB controller app before the upgrade would finally stick.

Yeah, You could also try using the Media Creation Tool to do a clean install instead of the in-place upgrade.

+1 Before that, have you checked if any of your drivers, especially for things like your graphics card or chipset, need updating?

Yeah, and if you're still stuck, try temporarily disconnecting any non-essential USB devices during the upgrade—sometimes peripherals can cause hiccups. Hope that helps.

This. Also, have you checked if your drivers, especially for your storage and chipset, are updated to Windows 11 versions?

Yeah, You could also try booting into safe mode and running a system file check with the command "sfc /scannow" to see if any core Windows files got corrupted.

This. I had the same problem. For me, it turned out to be a driver from my old audio interface that wasn't compatible.

Same here. Agreed, the USB clean install is the way to go. One extra tip: make sure to fully disconnect any non-essential USB devices before you start the install.
