Agreed, that's a good call. Also, make sure your BIOS is up to date, as an outdated version can cause exactly this kind of boot loop.

This. Also, have you tried booting into safe mode to see if that stops the loop?
Has anyone else run into boot issues after trying to upgrade from Windows 10 to ?

Has anyone else run into boot issues after trying to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11? My PC completed the install but now it just gets stuck in a reboot loop. It shows the motherboard logo, a spinning circle for a second, then restarts again. No error codes, just never reaches the login screen. I can get into the BIOS, but that's it. Really hoping to avoid a clean install if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Quick tip: I had this exact issue on my older laptop. From what I've seen, it's often a driver conflict, especially with outdated storage or chipset drivers. I had to boot from a Windows 10 USB, go to repair options, and roll back to the previous build, then update all my drivers before trying the upgrade again.

Yeah, You could also try temporarily disconnecting any non-essential USB devices before the upgrade, as sometimes peripherals can cause a conflict.

You could also try booting from a Windows 11 USB and using the startup repair tool. Good luck!

Also, can you get into the BIOS during startup?

I had the same problem. For me, it was a conflict with an old driver from my graphics card that caused the loop.

Same here. You could also try booting into safe mode and rolling back the update from there.

Agreed. Yeah, that's a solid fix. Also, try disconnecting any non-essential USB devices before the rollback, as they can sometimes interfere.
