So basically, I had this issue on my own ASUS board. Even with Secure Boot enabled, I had to go back into the BIOS and make sure the TPM (called fTPM on AMD or PTT on Intel) was actually turned on—it was a separate setting for me. Once both were active, the Health Check app finally gave me the green light.

Yeah, that Secure Boot thing can be tricky. Sometimes you also need to enable TPM 2.0 in the BIOS, not just Secure Boot.
I’m stuck trying to upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11?

I’m stuck trying to upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11. The PC Health Check app says my system doesn’t meet the requirements, specifically pointing to “Secure Boot.” I’ve checked my BIOS (I have an ASUS motherboard) and it seems to be enabled, but I still get the error. Has anyone else hit this wall? Do I need to enable something else, like TPM, even if Secure Boot is on? Any help would be appreciated.

You could also try disabling Secure Boot, saving and exiting the BIOS, then going back in to re-enable it. Another option is to check for a BIOS update from ASUS, as that can sometimes resolve the compatibility check.

+1 This happened to me on my ASUS board too. I had to enable the "Install Default Secure Boot keys" option in the BIOS before it finally passed the check.

Yeah, that did the trick for me as well. Also, try saving and exiting the BIOS twice just to make sure the setting sticks.

Following these steps fixed my issue as well.

Thanks! I turned on TPM 2.0, but now my computer says it can't find my hard drive to boot from.
