I had the same problem. For me, it was an old audio driver that wasn't playing nice with Windows 11, even though it worked fine on 10.
Has anyone else gotten constant blue screens after trying to upgrade from Window?

Has anyone else gotten constant blue screens after trying to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11? My PC meets the requirements, but the install fails and now I get random BSODs even during normal use. The main error code I see is **CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED**. I’ve tried the Windows Update Troubleshooter but it didn’t help. Any ideas on how to fix this or safely roll back?

You could also try a clean install of Windows 11 from a USB drive, as that often bypasses upgrade issues.

Not 100% sure, but Oh man, that sounds super frustrating, especially when your PC should be compatible. That error often points to a driver or system file conflict. I'd be happy to walk you through a few specific fixes to try and get you stable again. Just let me know if you want to dive into those steps!

You could also try booting into Safe Mode and rolling back the driver updates from there. Another option is to run a system file check with the "sfc /scannow" command in an admin command prompt.

Yeah, agreed. Also, if you're still stuck, running "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" before the sfc scan can sometimes help fix the update files.

+1 I had the same problem. For me, it was a driver conflict with my older antivirus software that didn't fully uninstall before the upgrade.

This happened to me too. I had to do a clean install of Windows 11 after rolling back, because the failed upgrade corrupted some system files.
