Has anyone else hit a wall trying to upgrade? My Windows 10 PC meets the CPU and TPM requirements, but the PC Health Check app keeps saying I don't have enough RAM. I have 6GB installed, which I know is the bare minimum for Windows 11. Is that 6GB requirement a hard line, or is there any workaround? The upgrade just fails every time with an error about insufficient memory.

So basically, Hey there, that's a frustrating spot to be in. Unfortunately, the 6GB RAM requirement is a hard line for the upgrade, so there's no official workaround. If you're comfortable with it, adding a bit more RAM would be the surefire fix—feel free to ask if you need tips on checking compatibility for that.

Yeah, You could also try a clean install of Windows 11 using the Media Creation Tool, as it sometimes bypasses the stricter upgrade checks.

Another option is to check if there's a BIOS update for your motherboard, as that can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with the RAM detection.

Agreed. Also, make sure you don't have too many background apps running when you try the check, as that can sometimes eat into the available memory it sees. Let me know if that works.

Yeah, Also, have you double-checked that all your RAM is actually being detected and seated properly in Windows? Good luck!

Agreed. I had the same problem. For me, it finally worked after I closed every single background app and ran the check again.
