Can confirm. Could you double-check if your RAM is actually installed in a dual-channel configuration?

Yeah, 6GB should be enough for the RAM requirement, so that's odd. The Health Check app can be a bit vague—it might be flagging something else like your processor, TPM, or secure boot.

I’m trying to upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11, but the setup keeps failing. The PC Health Check app says my RAM is the issue, even though I have 6GB installed. The error code I get is "This PC doesn't meet the minimum system requirements." I thought 4GB was the minimum? Is 6GB not enough, or is there something else I need to check? This is getting really frustrating.

This. Yeah, the 4GB minimum is for RAM that's actually accessible to the system. Agreed with the above, and a quick tip: try running the setup again with nothing but essential peripherals plugged in, as sometimes other hardware can cause a false flag.

Thanks! I checked and my RAM is in dual-channel. Could the problem be my processor even if it's not that old?

Oh, so the RAM is actually the problem? Have you checked if your motherboard has TPM 2.0 enabled in the BIOS?

Yeah, and while you're in the BIOS, could you also double-check if Secure Boot is turned on?

You could also try running the Windows 11 Installation Assistant directly, as it sometimes handles upgrades better than the standard update tool.

Same here. Yeah, the 4GB minimum is for RAM, so 6GB should be fine—have you double-checked if your processor and TPM are also enabled and supported? Good luck!
