Agreed. I had the same problem with my old 6700k. I used the Media Creation Tool to make a bootable USB and did a clean install, which finally worked.

I had the same problem. For me, disabling Secure Boot in the BIOS and then re-enabling it finally got the installer to recognize my TPM. Let me know if that works.

Hey there, I totally feel your frustration. That i5-7500 is still a capable chip, but unfortunately, it's officially excluded from Microsoft's supported CPU list, which is why you're hitting that wall. The TPM 2.0 requirement is the other big hurdle.
