Agreed. I had the same problem. It threw me off at first, but it seems to be working normally once you get past that new prompt.

Yeah, that's the new default behavior. A quick tip: you can sometimes bypass it by hitting Esc if you just want the regular lock screen. Let me know if that works.

Agreed, that's exactly it. One other thing—if it keeps happening, double-check your sign-in options in Settings to make sure nothing got switched.

Agreed. You could also run the Windows Update troubleshooter, since sometimes a glitchy update can cause unexpected sign-in changes.

Same here. Yeah, that's a good call. Also, if you just updated, a quick restart sometimes helps everything settle in properly.

This. Another option is to run the Windows Update troubleshooter, since it can sometimes fix unexpected changes like that.
