This. Agreed, a clean install can really help. Also, try checking for driver updates from your laptop manufacturer's website, not just Windows Update. Hope that helps.

+1 Oh, and have you checked Task Manager to see if something is using up all your CPU or memory?

Also, did you check if your drivers, especially for things like your graphics chip or storage, are updated for Windows 11?

I had the same problem. A clean reinstall of Windows 11, instead of the upgrade, made a huge difference for me.
