My home network has two Windows PCs, but I can't see or access files from one on?

Yeah, Also, double-check that network discovery is turned on for both computers.

+1 You could also try turning on network discovery in the advanced sharing settings on both computers.

Agreed. I had the same problem. For me, the fix was running the Network Troubleshooter on both PCs—it turned out a firewall rule was blocking it.

This happened to me too. After the troubleshooter, I also had to go into Network settings and make sure both PCs were set to a private network profile.

Yeah, I had the same problem. I fixed it by going into Windows Defender Firewall and allowing file and printer sharing on both private and public networks.

+1 Also, double-check that both PCs are set to the same network profile, like "Private," in your network settings.

Yeah, and make sure you've actually shared the folder you want to access—right-click it, go to Properties, and check the Sharing tab.

I had the same problem. For me, the network discovery was set to public instead of private on one PC. Good luck!
