You could also check if your motherboard has a dedicated TPM header and add a physical module, but that's an extra cost.

Before you buy anything, have you checked if your motherboard's BIOS has a setting to enable a firmware TPM (often called fTPM)?

Yeah, did you find that fTPM setting in your BIOS yet?
