I'm trying to upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11, but the Windows Update scr?

Post by bef08343 »

I'm trying to upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11, but the Windows Update screen just says "This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements." It doesn't give me any details! I know my CPU is compatible (it's an i7-7700K) and I have TPM 2.0 enabled. Is there a way to see a full, specific checklist of what's actually failing? The lack of info is really frustrating.

Same here. You could also try using the "WhyNotWin11" tool from GitHub, it's a third-party checker that gives super detailed reasons. Hope that helps.

I ran into this a while back. I had this issue with a similar setup. Run the PC Health Check app from Microsoft—it usually gives a more detailed breakdown than the update screen. If that’s still vague, check your Secure Boot status in the BIOS, that was the sneaky culprit for me.

Same here. I had the same problem. The PC Health Check app finally showed me it was a Secure Boot issue, even though my hardware was fine.

This happened to me too. I had to go into my BIOS and manually enable Secure Boot, even though TPM was already on.

Agreed. Yeah, that was exactly my fix too. Also, running Microsoft's PC Health Check tool can give you a clearer breakdown of what's still blocking the upgrade.

Yeah, Sometimes Secure Boot being off is the culprit, so maybe double-check that in your BIOS.

Yeah, Agreed. You can also run Microsoft's PC Health Check app—it usually gives you the specific reason it's failing.
